TOUR COSTS INCLUDE
Ø
Transportation
Transpacific
air will be provided via Air China or China Eastern Airlines.
For passengers departing from either San Francisco or Los Angeles
to either Shanghai or Beijing with a return from either Shanghai or
Beijing, a round trip economy class ticket will be included in the tour.
Departure from other cities in the US will require an
"add-on". Please
consult with PTS for further details. Persons, who wish to travel via other airlines can do so,
however, the ticket price will differ.
If a person would like to upgrade from economy class to either
business or first class, a person can do so, however, the upgrade will
incur a higher price difference. Please consult with PTS for the price
difference and reservations.
For
travel within China, visitors will travel via China domestic airlines
(significant distances) or deluxe, modern coach with amenities and
comfortable travel. For
portions of a tour or an entire tour requiring river travel,
transportation will be provided on state-of-the-art ships with deluxe
accommodations and full amenities.

Round
trip airport to hotel transfers are provided in each city

Hotel
Accommodations
Visitors will stay at five-star hotels at each destination. Four-star hotel reservations will be provided at the request of the client, and will be considered an upgrade in rating and price difference.

Meals
Meals
will be provided as mentioned in the itinerary.
Guests will be provided with an American breakfast (AB), lunch
(L), and dinner (D) at local restaurants unless otherwise stated.

Special
meals are included as stated in the tour.

Bilingual
(English and Chinese) professional tour guides will escort visitors
throughout the entire tour.

Travel
Insurance
When
you confirm your reservation and make final payment, PTS will provide
travel insurance coverage for $30,000US.
We also offer additional insurance coverage plans, which can be
provided at your own expense. Application
forms can be obtained from PTS.

Departure Tax
All tour packages, unless otherwise stated, includes the US Departure Tax $53.

Travel
Document
A valid passport is required,
and the expiration date cannot be less than 6 months of the tour
dates. Wonderful Vacation
will not be responsible for any delays, damages, and/or losses,
including missed portions of the tour, which are related to missing
travel documents.
Ø
Visa
Processing
Travel
to China requires the proper documents, one of which is the visa,
which can be obtained from any Consulate
of the People's Republic of China within the United States.
However, for your convenience, PTS will obtain the necessary
visa for your trip to China.
Application forms will be provided by PTS upon request from
you.
The charges for the visa processing are as follows:
Group
Visa:
For
entry to China and departure from China with the tour group,
your passport is required. The
original passport and photo are not required for a visa application,
which should be obtained from PTS.
Group visa charge -
$30 per person.
Individual Visa:
For entry into China and departure
from China as an individual tourist, your passport,
two photos, and application form are required.
Individual visa charge - $50 per person.
If you possess a passport other than from the US, please consult
with PTS for the processing fee.
China
Passport:
For individuals carrying a
China passport with a U.S. Green Card, a visa is not
required, however, a copy of the passport is mandated.

Airport Construction Tax
A very nominal
fee/tax is assessed and charged at each airport of departure from each
city in China.
Ø
Tips
(It
is customary to give the driver $1.50US/person/day and the tour guide
$2.50/person/day. Should
you wish to tip more, you can.)

Baggage
Handling Fee
Baggage
handling fees are not covered by the price of the tour, and will be
your responsibility.
Ø
Extra
Arrangements for Activities, Which Are Not Specified in the Tour Package
Should you
wish to add additional activities to your tour, the arrangements for
such should be made with PTS before registration is made to enable PTS
to make the necessary modifications to your tour and price of the
travel package. Please
consult with PTS to obtain various activities, which are available and
the respective charge(s).

Personal
Expenses
Personal
expenses, such as laundry, postage, telephone calls, etc. are not
included in the price of the tour.
Therefore, the requirement for such matters will be your
responsibility.
NOTE:
The sixteenth (16th) person will travel free-of-charge
having to pay only for the US departure tax on the air ticket - $53
(current tax) if departure is from Los Angeles and San Francisco.
If departure is from the East Coast, the current tax is $ 53.
This applies to group tours,
in which every person departs from the same city in the US and in China,
and on the same dates.


Terms
and Conditions
Payment and Deposit
Reservation
1.
Deposit
To ensure that your reservations are processed and confirmed, a deposit of $300 is due
upon registration for the tour. The check or money order is to be made payable to PTS. A $35 fee will be charged for any return checks. At the time of registration, an application should be obtained from PTS, completed, and provided to PTS with your deposit.
2.
Balance
The
remaining balance is due 45 days prior to departure.
Delay in the provision of the remaining balance will result in
cancellation of your reservations.
Cancellation
The
following will be charged or refunded accordingly when you cancel your
tour reservation:
1.
If
cancellation occurs more than thirty-five
(35) days prior to departure, $200
per person will be assessed and
will not be refunded to cover the expense of
arrangements made for the
tour on behalf of the individual (s).
2.
If cancellation occurs from
thirty-five (35) days to fifteen (15) days prior to departure, $300
per person will be assessed and deposit will not be refunded.
*In
addition to the above stated cancellation charges, if airline tickets
have already been issued at the time of cancellation (regardless of
number of days prior to departure), the traveler will be assessed an
additional airline cancellation penalty and service charge pursuant to
the airlines rules and regulations.
3.
If cancellation
occurs from fifteen(15) days to seven(7) days prior to departure. $950US will be the maximum
cancellation fee assessed per person.
Visa process fee is not refundable.
4.
If cancellation occurs within
seven (7) days of departure, there will be no refund.
5.
Written notice of cancellation
must be received by PTS either by mail, fax or e-mail.
Oral cancellation by phone will not be accepted.
Unused
Portion of the Tour
Any unused tour feature with
respect to air travel or land arrangements are not refundable nor can
substitutions be made once the trip is underway.
Tour
Price
All tour prices are in US
dollars. These rates are subject to change as deemed necessary by PTS
to cover its costs for airline hikes in fares, increase in hotel
rates, or any other increases charged for any service rendered by the
contracting agents in China.
Group
Tour vs. FIT
Group tours are based on
participation of ten (10) or more persons.
For groups of travelers
less than ten (10), a reasonable tour price will be based on an
"FIT" basis unless otherwise stated.
USA
& Canada Add-on Fare
If you are planning to leave
from cities other than Los Angeles or San Francisco, we would like to
apprise you that the appropriate domestic add-on fare to Los Angeles
or San Francisco will apply. Due
to seasonal fluctuations in pricing and price changes at the
discretion of the airlines, prices for any add-on fares cannot be
published. Please consult
with PTS for details, i.e., fare price, seat availability, and
confirmation.
Price
Guarantee
When the final payment is
made to PTS, the price of your tour will be guaranteed providing there
are no changes made to the tour package and air travel arrangements,
and there are no unforeseen changes beyond the control of PTS.
Health
Condition
PTS would like you to have a
most enjoyable trip to China, and would highly recommend that
travelers be in good health. Should
you have a physical condition, which may be affected by travel, please
consult with your physician to make certain that it would be feasible
for you to travel without complications.
Also, if you require any prescription medication, please make
certain that you bring your medication in the properly labeled bottles
with identification that the medication is prescribed.
If you have any dietary restrictions, please notify PTS, who
will notify the airlines and agents in China of your restrictions.
Baggage
Your baggage throughout the
trip is your responsibility. Baggage
allowance for your transpacific flight is two pieces of luggage, not
to exceed 40lbs. Extra
weight will incur extra charges.
Carry-on luggage is limited to one piece not exceeding 45
inches in combined dimension. Excess
baggage charges and insurance will be your responsibility.
Deviation
Charge
There will be a charge for
any deviations from the tour.
Change
Fee
Once your reservation is
booked and confirmed, any changes, which you may wish to make, will be
charged a fee of $35US. Once
the ticket is issued, no changes will be permitted.
Shopping
If you require, PTS will be
more than happy to assist you with your shopping requirements.
However, PTS does not assume any responsibility for any items
purchased in China. Should
any problems arise from purchase, the responsibility to seek remedy
from the merchant will be on your part.
PTS does not hold responsibility for the value, reliability,
quality or authenticity of any goods purchased in China.
Substitution
PTS reserves the right to
substitute hotels with hotels of the same level in such events, which
preclude availability of sufficient rooms for all of the tour
participants.
Alterations
to the Tour by Agents other than PTS
Since the Chinese ground
agent has exclusive control of operations of the tour in China, the
ground agent reserves the right to increase rates and make alterations
to the tour itinerary as to destinations, transportation,
accommodations, and all other services.
Neither PTS nor any subsidiary or affiliate of PTS shall be
responsible for any such alterations made by the Chinese ground agent.
Should an increase in the price of any segment of the tour
occur, PTS reserves the right to adjust the tour price to cover the
added cost.
Missing
Travel Documents
Should a tour participant be
denied entry into China for the lack of the necessary travel documents
or for other legitimate reasons, PTS will not refund the unused
portion of tour nor will it be responsible for any additional
expenditure arising from such a problem.
Responsibility
Liability Exclusions
Perfect
Transportation & Travel Service (PTS), Inc., located at 533 South
Atlantic Blvd., Monterey Park, CA. 91754 (hereinafter referred to as the
Tour Operator) is responsible for developing the tour(s).
The responsibility of the Tour Operator and/or its
representatives and/or its agents is limited.
The Tour Operator acts only as an agent for the tour participants
in all matters connected with the tour transportation, hotel &
dining services, sightseeing tours, and other services, including all
transportation whether by air, motor coach, rail, car, boat, or by any
other means.
The Tour Operator does not own, manage, control or operate any
transportation vehicle, any hotel or restaurant, or any other suppliers
or services related to this tour program.
The Tour Operator acts only on behalf of hotels, airlines, cruise
lines, bus companies and/or owners, operators or contractors (all
hereinafter called Contractors) providing services in connection with
these tours; and all tickets, receipts, coupons and vouchers are issued
subject to the terms and conditions specified by these Contractors.
As an agent, the Tour Operator holds itself free of
responsibility for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from any cause.
By accepting the coupons and tickets, or utilizing the services,
tour participants agree that neither the Tour Operator nor its
representatives and/or agents shall be liable for any loss, or
additional expense, injury, or damage to the tour participants or their
belongings or otherwise in connection with any accommodation,
transportation or other services, resulting directly or indirectly from
any other occurrences beyond the control of the Tour Operator, including
breakdown in equipment, strikes, acts of God, fire, acts of government
or authorities, wars, whether declared or not, riots, theft, pilferage,
epidemics, quarantines, medical or custom regulations, delays,
cancellations or changes in itinerary or schedules, etc..
Any agreement between Tour Operator and any travel agent,
passenger, air carrier, hotel, ground operator, or other tour operator
shall be valid only when accepted in writing by Tour Operator's
authorized representative at the office of Tour Operator's principal
place of business.
The Tour Operator reserves the right to withdraw and/or cancel a
tour or to make changes in
the itinerary whenever, in its sole judgment, conditions warrant
it.
If the Tour Operator cancels the tour, it shall have no
responsibility beyond the refund of all moneys paid to the Tour Operator
by tour participant.
The Tour Operator reserves the right to decline accepting or
retaining any person as a member of the tour at any time should such
person's health or general deportment or attitude, in the Tour
Operator's sole judgment, impede the operations of the tour.
If such person is asked to leave while the tour is in progress,
that person will be responsible for charges incurred by their departure
from the tour or their return to the USA.
The Tour Operator will refund any moneys which can be recovered
for their unused portion of the tour, and there will be no further
obligation
or liability on the part of the Tour Operator.
