
Crystal World - Harbin Ice & Snow Festival
Day 1 USA – Japan / Incheon(Korea)
We board on international flight to Japan / Incheon. Meals and snacks will be provided on board.
Day 2 Japan / Incheon
Arrive at Japan / Incheon airport. We will have an overnight layover in Japan / Incheon where hotel accommodations will be provided by the airline.
Day 3 Japan / Incheon – Dalian (SD)
In the morning depart for Dalian, China. Upon arrival at Dalian, a beautiful seaside city on the southern tip of Liaodong Peninsula, you will be greeted by a Grande Holiday representative. We will take city tour and visit the Tiger Beach, Concert Square and Dalian Port, one of the most important trade harbors across East Asia. The day ends with a great welcome dinner.
Day 4 Dalian – Anshan – Shenyang (AB, L, D)
We drive to Anshan, the “steel capital of China” where we will visit a 260-ton Jade Buddha. In the evening, we continue on our bus ride to Shenyang, the capital city of Liaoning Province. Shenyang is an important center for trade industry and culture in northeast China.
Day 5 Shenyang (AB, L, SD)
The highlight of this city is Shenyang Forbidden City. Besides the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Shenyang Imperial Palace is one of the only other existing palace complexes in China. The unique architectural style of the Shenyang Imperial Palace reflects a blend of Han, Manchu and Mongolian cultures which originated from the shape of a nomadic tent. After lunch, we visit General Chang residence. Tonight a northeastern cuisine is arranged.
Day 6 Shenyang – Changchun (AB, L, SD)
In the morning, explore the Shenyang Provincial Museum and Twelfth Bronze Statues. After lunch, we will drive to Changchun. Upon arrival, specialty herbal dinner is arranged.
Day 7 Changchun (AB, L, D)
First, visit Puppet State's Imperial Palace. Changchun was the capital of the puppet "Manchu State" established by the Japanese during World War II and the home of the last emperor, Henry Puyi. The first Chinese truck and car are made here. Thus, a visit to a car museum is a must. They make cars like Toyota, Audi, and others.
Day 8 Changchun – Harbin (AB, L, D)
In the morning we drive to Harbin, the city of the Ice and Snow Festival. We will take a city tour and go to Zhao Lin Park where you will see the ice sculptures and ice lanterns.
Day 9 Harbin (AB, L, SD)
After breakfast, we will tour Sun Island, the site of an international snow carving competition which held every January. After viewing the amazing sculptures we will go to Northeast Tiger Park and see the recently listed endangered tiger of China. After lunch, you will visit the Songhua River and witness people swimming in subzero temperature. In the early evening, we will go to Harbin Ice and Snow Festival to see the magnificent and gigantic ice sculptures. The tour will be followed by a delicious farewell dinner -- Flying Dragon feast.
Day 10 Harbin – Beijing (AB, L)
In the morning, we fly to Beijing, the capital of China. Beijing is also known as Peking which has a long history. This afternoon, we will visit the silk factory and silk alley for shopping.
Day 11 Beijing (AB, L)
In the morning, we will visit the fabled Great Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a massive defensive structure built to keep off intrusion. On the way, we will visit the jade museum, where we will learn about Chinese jade culture.
Day 12 Beijing – USA (AB)
We drive to the airport for your return flight home ending your fantastic visit to the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival and cities in China.
